    Race game environment which I am working on for my current job, it is still a work in progress. I am in charge of the concepts all the way to the final product.

  • Village Center

    Realtime virtual village demo with a dynamic day/night cycle in Unreal. This was my graduation project for the specialisation world building.

  • Supermarket

    Realtime virtual supermarket. This was created by Riny van Malsen and I during our internship at the MediaLab.

  • Glaciator

    Glaciator was a game developed during my third year at IGAD. My job on the team was modeler and texturer.

  • Landjuweel 2008

    First commercial serious game made by second year IGAD students for Landjuweel 2008. My job on this project was modeler, texturer and user interface designer.

  • One Knight Stand

    The first game I worked on at IGAD. I worked on it with 3 fellow students during our first year at IGAD. My job was character artist, animator and cutscene designer

  • Lip Sync

    Simple lip synchronisation animation done as an exercise. Blake character model by Jason Baskin, texture was done by me.

  • Parkour run

    Run animation done as an exercise. Blake character model by Jason Baskin, Parkour done by Kim Goossens.

  • Dodge

    Low poly Dodge Challenger with 2 texture sets. The goal was to create a vehicle under 1500 polygons, my dodge has 1463 polygons.

  • Leather Armor

    Leather armor set created for the game Fallout 3. The design of the armor was inspired by Mad Max and western movies.

  • R2D2

    R2D2 with 3 texture sets created for the Half-Life 2 total conversion modification Star Wars: The New Era.

  • Future Car

    Futuristic car created for a vehicology project. The goal was to create a vehicle based on an ordinary object, in this case a shoe.

  • Spurs

    Spurs created for a modification request for the game Fallout: New Vegas. These were supposed to be worn as a seperate item in combination with any armor.

  • Predator

    Predator body built to serve as a simple anatomy study with a head sculpt done in Zbrush.


Welcome to my online portfolio. My name is Rob van Hintum. I am a 3D artist & Webdeveloper. On the left you can see a selection of some of the 3D projects I have been working on. For my other work check out the pages Webdesign and 2D.


3D work experience includes modeling, texturing, rigging, animating, lighting and rendering.
Experience in Maya, 3DS Max, Zbrush, Mudbox and Premiere. I also got experience with the Unreal Development Kit and the Ogre engine.
